What if Goku Was in Naruto – Chapter 3 | Crossover Fanfiction
by Mr PopoDragon Ball Super Crossover | Fanfiction

Our story picks back up with Ibuki and Hiyoshi standing before Lady Tsunade. Both had just returned from their separate investigations, and from the way they carried themselves, it was clear—they were unsettled. Their expressions were tight, eyes flicking with unease, as if the weight of what they discovered still pressed heavily on their shoulders.
“My lady…” Ibuki began slowly, unsure how to even begin, “I don’t believe he’s a spy.”
Tsunade’s brow lifted in surprise.
Ibuki continued, voice steady but low, “I even went a step further… checked to see if he might be under some kind of control. Maybe brainwashed. But… no signs of that either.”
Hiyoshi, standing a few steps to the side, nodded in agreement. “Yes, I came to the same conclusion. No signs of manipulation.”
He paused for a moment, then added, “But his chakra… it’s massive. Far beyond anything I’ve seen before. And I’ve been around a long time.”
Tsunade leaned forward, eyes narrowing. “Massive? Just how much power are we talking?”
Hiyoshi glanced at Ibuki for a moment, then turned back. “To put it plainly… I’ve never seen a person with so much chakra. It’s like his body creates a constant flow of energy… enough to form a protective layer around him. Almost like armor made from pure chakra.”
The room grew quiet. Even Tsunade didn’t respond at first. She studied both men, trying to understand the full weight of what they were saying.
“So…” she finally said, “you’re telling me he’s strong. But how strong? Is he a threat to the village?”
Ibuki took a deep breath. “My lady… you might not believe me. Honestly, I’m still struggling with it myself. But if I had to guess… he’s at least ten times more powerful than the Nine Tails.”
The room fell into stunned silence.
Asuma nearly choked on the air. “What?!”
“There’s more,” Hiyoshi added quickly. “When I looked deeper, I saw something else. His body doesn’t just hold massive chakra—it creates more of it. Constantly. As if he has no limit.”
He paused, then shook his head slightly in disbelief. “In my opinion… this man might be a god. To carry this much power… it’s beyond anything I’ve ever imagined.”
“My lady,” he continued, eyes intense now, “it’s possible he’s even twenty times stronger than what I originally thought. His chakra… it outclasses even my Byakugan.”
“That’s impossible,” said Kakashi, stepping forward, eyes wide behind his mask. “Ten times more power than a Tailed Beast? Especially the Nine Tails?”
“You don’t have to take my word for it,” said Hiyoshi calmly. “Use your Sharingan. You’ll see.”
Kakashi hesitated, then nodded silently and activated his eye. A moment passed… and then another.
“…It’s true,” Kakashi said quietly. “I don’t understand how… but every word checks out.”
“And his chakra…” he added, “it doesn’t feel malicious. There’s no bloodlust. No dark intent. It’s… calm.”
Ibuki nodded. “Exactly. There’s strength, but no evil.”
Meanwhile, Goku stood outside the room, clueless about the conversation happening behind the walls. As the door finally opened and he was ushered in, he stepped forward with that same cheerful energy he always carried.
“Hey! I’m Goku,” he said with a friendly smile.
Tsunade gave a polite nod. “Hello, Goku. We’ve been discussing you… but I’d rather hear your version of things before we come to any decisions. So, let’s start with something simple. Where are you from?”
Goku didn’t hesitate. “West City. I was actually at Bulma’s place. She was fixing my son’s computer. When she said it was ready, I picked it up and then… next thing I know, I woke up here, near this town.”
Kakashi, still watching Goku carefully, confirmed Hiyoshi’s earlier statements. After using his Sharingan, he too had seen the impossible power flowing through Goku.
“It’s all true,” Kakashi said again. “But… how does someone hold that much chakra?”
“And it doesn’t feel evil,” he added, shaking his head. “I can’t sense anything dangerous in it.”
Goku stood quietly, listening to all of this with a slightly confused look. Inside, he was already thinking, What are these people talking about? I need to get back home… Chi-Chi’s gonna freak out.
Tsunade took a breath and focused again.
“I have one more question for you, Mr. Goku,” she said firmly. “What are your intentions?”
Goku shrugged casually. “I’ve already told everyone—I just want to go home.”
Tsunade exchanged a quick look with Kakashi, then said under her breath, “If the Akatsuki find out about him… he could be in real danger.”
Goku raised an eyebrow. “That’s the third time I’ve heard that name. Akatsuki? Who’s that?”
Tsunade stood up, her voice growing serious. “The Akatsuki is a dangerous group. They wear black cloaks with red clouds on them. Their goal is simple—world domination. They use powerful ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu. And you… you’re exactly the kind of person they’d want.”
Goku’s face lit up slightly in recognition. “Oh! I think I ran into two people like that. On my way here.”
Tsunade froze. “You saw them? Then… they know you exist.” Her voice turned sharp. “That means you’re in danger.”
But Goku didn’t seem worried. He crossed his arms, smirked a little, and said, “Don’t worry. I’ve been through my fair share of battles. I’m not afraid.”
“You should be,” Tsunade warned. “This world isn’t like yours. These enemies don’t hold back. If you underestimate them, you might not live to regret it.”
Goku met her gaze with calm determination. “Then test me. You’ll see—I can handle myself.”
Tsunade studied him for a moment, then nodded slowly. “Fine. We’re going to test you. Kakashi. Hiyoshi. Go find Gai. Tell him to meet us at the Forbidden Forest.”
As they left the room, Tsunade whispered to herself, He’s got guts. Reminds me of Naruto in a way.
A few minutes later, the group stood at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. It was meant to be a one-on-one sparring match, but the moment Goku sensed their energy—or “chakra,” as they called it—he immediately spoke up.
“Hmm… your chakra levels are pretty low,” he said, glancing between them. “Let’s make this interesting. How about all three of you come at me at once?”
Tsunade scowled. “Such arrogance. These are some of the best shinobi in the village. You dare mock us like this?”
Goku just smiled. “I’m not mocking anyone. I can sense chakra—and yours isn’t very high. That’s all. Doesn’t mean you’re not skilled. I just want a good challenge.”
“Having a lot of chakra isn’t everything,” she snapped. “Skill and experience matter just as much. Sometimes more.”
She turned to the three shinobi and barked, “Show this Goku what it truly means to be a shinobi.”
As the forest air thickened with tension, Kakashi, Hiyoshi, and Gai stepped aside to quickly strategize. Their mission wasn’t to destroy—but to measure. To test this stranger’s power and find its limits.
Kakashi’s voice was calm, almost too calm. “If we stick to the plan, we’ll be fine. I’ll hang back. If anyone gets hurt, I’ll step in and handle it. Heal up fast. Let’s go when you’re ready.”
Everyone nodded.
A few seconds later, the signal was clear. The fight began.
Without wasting time, Gai and Hiyoshi lunged forward, leading the charge. Kakashi hung back, calculating, watching every movement. Blows came fast—sharp, clean strikes with deadly intent. But Goku didn’t flinch. Not once.
His body moved like water. Graceful, almost effortless. Each fist, each kick, slipped past him as if the attacks were happening in slow motion.
“Nothing’s landing!” Gai barked, frustrated, backing off slightly.
Realizing they needed a bigger move, Kakashi took a step back and began weaving signs rapidly. “Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!” he shouted, hurling a massive ball of fire toward Goku. The heat washed over the trees, flames roaring with power.
It was a blast that could’ve scorched a mountainside.
But Goku didn’t dodge. He didn’t move.
He let the flames wash over him.
When the fire faded, there he stood—untouched. His orange gi barely singed, not even a mark on his skin.
Goku chuckled lightly. “That was a beautiful attack, really. But it’s not nearly strong enough to hurt me.”
Then he vanished.
A heartbeat later, Gai was punched square in the face—no wind-up, no warning. The air itself cracked from the force as Gai went flying backward. But the seasoned shinobi flipped midair, landing hard on his feet.
“We’re going with Plan B!” Gai shouted, already charging back in.
Hiyoshi followed, both of them launching into a relentless combo. They struck with blinding speed, pushing Goku hard.
“Four palms… eight palms… sixteen palms… thirty-two palms!” Hiyoshi’s voice echoed as he delivered a flurry of precise, piercing strikes.
One landed—just right—and sent Goku flying back toward Kakashi, who was already building his attack.
“I’m sending him your way!” Hiyoshi called out.
“It’s your turn, Kakashi!” Gai followed up.
Kakashi didn’t miss a beat. “Chidori!” he roared, the lightning blade forming in his hand as he dashed forward, faster than the eye could track. With a thunderous crack, the electric charge slammed into Goku’s stomach.
Without hesitation, Kakashi leapt skyward, ready to finish the combo. “Let’s end this!” he shouted.
Another powerful Chidori struck, sending Goku crashing to the ground with a deafening impact. Dust and leaves shot into the air. Everyone stood still, waiting. Watching.
They began to relax.
Then… a voice rang out from the rubble.
“They’re better organized than I thought,” Goku said, standing up casually, brushing dirt from his shoulders. “You guys aren’t bad at all.”
The tension snapped back in an instant.
Even expecting resistance, the shinobi were surprised. Goku wasn’t even scratched.
Gai gritted his teeth. “Alright. No more holding back.”
In one quick breath, Hiyoshi activated his Byakugan—veins popping around his eyes. “Byakugan!”
Gai’s aura exploded as he roared, “Seven Gates of Wonder… OPEN!”
Not to be left behind, Kakashi’s eye shifted, the Sharingan swirling into motion. The real fight was about to begin.
As energy surged, Goku watched, intrigued. “Your ki just jumped. And your speed too…”
In a burst of motion, Gai vanished—his speed now unbelievable. He zipped around Goku, leaving afterimages to confuse him. For a human, this would be godlike.
But Goku wasn’t human.
His eyes caught the blur.
With perfect timing, he landed a clean uppercut, stopping Gai cold.
Seconds later, Kakashi and Hiyoshi charged in. Gai, regaining his balance, launched a barrage of fireballs from behind to trap Goku between them.
The sky lit up with explosions. But as the smoke settled… Goku stood there, smiling.
“Not bad,” he said, brushing smoke from his sleeves. “But you should give up.”
Kakashi narrowed his eye. “We knew you’d tank that. It was a distraction.”
Hiyoshi suddenly moved in.
Goku found himself inside a strange formation—Hiyoshi’s chakra circle.
“Now!” Hiyoshi shouted.
“Hakke Rokujuuyon Shou!” he cried out.
He struck fast. So fast the blows blurred. “Four palms! Eight palms! Sixteen! Thirty-two! Sixty-four! One hundred twenty-eight!”
Each hit landed with sharp, precise impact.
Gai didn’t miss the opportunity. “Leaf Wind Hurricane!” he yelled, spinning into a vicious kick that sent Goku flying once again.
Everyone watched, holding their breath.
Lady Tsunade stepped forward slightly, her voice calm but full of meaning. “You misunderstood what I meant earlier… The danger of this world isn’t our power. It’s our strategy. Our ability to adapt.”
She turned toward Kakashi and added, “Maybe I chose too well.”
Kakashi nodded, satisfied. “Everything’s going according to plan.”
“Thanks to Hiyoshi’s Byakugan, we’ve confirmed it… this area has no chakra left.”
But just as the words left his mouth—something happened.
A golden light burst from the crater.
Goku rose into the air, hair glowing, eyes fierce—his energy surging like a wave of thunder.
He had transformed.
Super Saiynn.
Then, as quickly as it came, he powered back down—returning to his base form as if nothing had happened.
“Impossible,” Kakashi whispered, feeling the shock hit his chest. “He shouldn’t have any chakra left…”
Yet the air was shaking from the sheer force of Goku’s ki.
